The Leftovers - Final scene

Next to the Japanese anime, this is one of the rare tv series which is not afraid to deal with complicated subjects....





I believe she is telling the truth, she did go to the other place otherwise they wouldnt have made it a point at the start of the episode where she clearly states that she does not lie to the french people.
But the fact that she saw her family after all the hardship and decided that they were happy in their new lives and decided to go back is consistent with her character trait.

Goodbye to a series which was all about references and motifs and it was good that we got a week to ponder upon each episode cause if this series was binged then probably the references would have gone above our heads.
