An amazing conclusion to the London Candidates Tournament ensured that World No 1 and the highest rated player in Chess history Mr Magnus Carlsen from Norway will be playing against the reigning World champion Vishy Anand for the World champion title later in 2013

FIDE has already agreed when the previous World Championship took place that Chennai will get the first option to host the Championship tourney provided Anand wins it. Apparently based on a recent interview by Henrik Carlsen (Carlsen's father) Magnus would refuse to play in Chennai thats no fun :) meaning no world championship in Chennai. Have to see where would they play the tourney.
