True detective Season finale

If at all there could be an amazing team put together to make the magna cum laude of crime thrillers on TV, "True detective" is one of them. Lets go them one by one - Matthew Mcconaughey, Woody Harrelson, Nick Pizzolatto and the talented Cary Joji Fukunaga. This is an anthology series meaning there would be a completely new set of characters in the second season with possibly a new theme as well. But I cant enjoy the "noir" feel which Nick has bought to TV in the first season. From the very first episode u are thrown into the small town world where the mystic and the weird collide with each other. Throw into it the wild philosophical theories of Rust (Matthew) this show just keeps getting better for the crime-suspense thriller fans like me.
It was also interesting to watch all the fan conspiracy theories on who is the serial killer. Since this series spans over a period of 17 years it only complicates all the conspiracy theories.The "Yellow King" , "Carcosa", "Black stars" and the "Spiral sign" are all themes and motifs which adds to the tone of the series. Episode 8 is coming up on Sunday, which means Monday Morning in India, I would wake up early to watch this live. Cant miss the series finale for one bit.
